AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-core “Zen 4” CPU With 4.4GHz Benchmark Leaked, 11% faster Than Ryzen 9 5950X

Through the Basemark benchmarking software, the first AMD Ryzen 5 7600X has been revealed, which, of course, is presented as an Engineering Sample (ES) with an OPN ID of “100-000000593-20_Y”, and the benchmarks give us some information about the CPU cores and clock speeds. In the Basemark benchmarking software it is reported that the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X is based on a 6-core processor and has 12 processing threads.

The maximum frequency of the alleged Ryzen 5 7600X in the tests is fixed at around 4.4 GHz. The L3 cache is 32MB (similar to the Ryzen 5 5600X) and the L2 cache is 6MB, i.e. 1 MB per core. By comparison, the Ryzen 5 5600X only has 512 KB per core.

The processor worked on a GIGABYTE X670E AORUS MASTER motherboard. As for the graphics card, a professional NVIDIA RTX A4000 video card was used.

According to PowerBoard 3.0 benchmarks, the Zen 4 Engineering Sample was able to outperform the Ryzen 9 5950X in three ways: minimum fps, average fps, and maximum fps. On average, the alleged Ryzen 5 7600X is 11% faster than the 16-core flagship of the Vermeer family.

The release version of the Ryzen 5 7600X is expected to show even more performance as the maximum clock speed increases. Perhaps the final version of the processor will operate at a frequency close to 5 GHz.

So far now, the AMD Ryzen 7000 processor family will consist of only four models: Ryzen 9 7950X (16 cores), Ryzen 9 7900X (12 cores), Ryzen 7 7800X (8 cores), and this Ryzen 5 7600X (6 cores). So, it seems that the company would once again leave all those users who want an affordable CPU, and who will now be able to resort to the Ryzen 5000 that should drop in price.
