AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT ‘Navi 23’ GPU First Picture Leaked

During the showcase in Computex 2021, it looks like AMD has the plan to introduce its Radeon RX 6600 XT with 8GB GDDR6 memory and its RX 6000M GPUs for laptops. We will have 4 video outputs: 1 x HDMI and 3 x DisplayPort.

Next week the Computex 2021 event begins, in which manufacturers such as AMD will present their novelties. This may be the ideal framework to introduce the next RDNA 2 based GPU on the Navi 23 XT chip, with the RX 6600 being the Navi 23 XL chip. AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT will have 8 GB GDDR6 memory

According to the source, there is no indication in the photo that it is the RX 6600 XT, but we do see Navi 23 XT and 8 GB GDDR6 on the first label. As can be seen in the picture, and it is an engineering sample loaned to one of the partners, in this case, PC Partner Limited.

The label confirms that it is a GPU with 8 GB GDDR6 and that it has 4 video outputs: an HDMI and 3 DisplayPort. We know that Navi 23 XT refers to the RX 6600 family, specifically the “XT” model, which will offer 2048 Stream Processors (shaders). Its maximum frequency will be 2684 MHz and its memory clock will be 16 Gbps.

Regarding its 8 GB GDDR6, we will have a 128-bit memory bus and it will have 32 MB of Infinity Cache. It will be the first low-mid-range GPU from AMD to support Ray Tracing.

It was already confirmed that its estimated TDP would be 130 W, being a model with a fairly low consumption. On the other hand, the RX 6600 will not exceed 100 W by much and will be based on the Navi 23 XL GPU, which has fewer shaders, TMUs, ROPs, but the same memory and Infinity Cache.

The price is not known, but everything indicates that the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT will have its presentation at Computex 2021, on June 1. Regarding the launch, it is estimated that it will be in the same month of June.
