Fans have been waiting for a return of John Marston’s adventure to the next-generation consoles and Rockstar may be ready to oblige. Now, after some alleged images of the game that appeared online but were quickly debunked by fans, it’s time for a first confirmation of a Nintendo Switch version of Red Dead Redemption Remaster.

As reported by a Twitter user “Tez2”, in fact, he discovered the updated Red Dead Redemption logo on the Rockstar Games website following a new update but also discovered that the updated site added the game to the module ratings list which was not used by the original website.

Also, among the platform buttons added to the site is one related to Nintendo Switch. While this isn’t indicative of the remaster coming to the hybrid console as well, it’s certainly an interesting find.

After all, given that the controversial remastered GTA Trilogy also appeared on the small Nintendo Switch console, so the likelihood that John Marston’s adventure will also arrive on the hybrid device is certainly high.

According to a leaker, the release of Red Dead Redemption Remaster could even be expected by the end of the year, but at the moment it is difficult to understand how accurate this information may prove to be. In any case, we will keep you updated when we get enough information on this game, till that time stay tuned to our website TechNClub.com.

In recent news, while waiting for an official announcement, the Digital Foundry guys shared a video showing the first Red Dead Redemption on PC via the Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia, with a maximum speed of 300 frames per second, and it is really beautiful to see (despite some uncertainty). Check out the video in action below.
