Now, after the team has announced that it intends to continue developing games for both PC and PS5, Kurt Margenau (co-game director of The Last of Us Part II) has revealed that the company’s next game will be their “Favourite” product ever.

Margenau, who was also Game Director of Uncharted The Lost Legacy and co-Lead Designer of Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End, has been at Naughty Dog for about fifteen years, and it is precisely for this reason that his words certainly have higher-than-average importance.

In fact, answering a question posed by the official Twitter profile of The Game Awards which asked players what their favorite Naughty Dog game was, the co-director intervened leaving an answer as mysterious as it was exciting.

In fact, Margenau wrote “the next one” without adding any further details. It goes without saying that such a replica dramatically increases the curiosity towards the next game of the Californian studio.

For that matter, Neil Druckmann also recently stated that the company has no problem leaving The Last of Us series behind as well, but only if there are no more stories to tell in that universe.
