Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons Remakes Are Reportedly In Development for Nintendo Switch

If all the rumors that revolve around upcoming Zelda remakes were true, fans can look forward to numerous titles. Many insiders now confirm that remakes for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wind Waker are in development. So far, only Skyward Sword HD has been announced and released on the Nintendo Switch. Now another insider suggests that there are two more Zelda remakes in the making, which originally appeared around 20 years ago, namely The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.

Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons Remakes reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch

The Twitter user “markomaro” published a whole series of games, the existence of which there are current rumors. But two of the titles have so far not had a leak on the hybrid console of Nintendo Switch: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.

Since Nintendo has already confirmed that no more Zelda titles will follow this year, the remakes will probably not appear in the coming months. The insider believes that the release will take place in 2022 or 2023.

The two titles appeared in 2001 for the Game Boy Color and would therefore have accumulated enough years to actually appear as a remake. Since Nintendo celebrated great success with the Switch remake of the predecessor The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, it would not be surprising that the two Game Boy parts could follow.

Even if the Twitter user has not yet been so present in the rumor mill, in our opinion it could be that we expect remakes of Oracle of Ages and Seasons. But as always, we should take the rumor with caution until Nintendo officially discontinues the two titles.
