Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remaster Coming to PS4 & Nintendo Switch, According to ESRB Rating

It seems that Square Enix is preparing the announcement and launch of Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remaster on consoles, specifically on Nintendo Switch and PS4. Check out the complete details below.

Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remaster Coming to PS4 & Nintendo Switch

According to reports, Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remaster will be released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch with an improved soundtrack and other changes, after passing through PC and mobile. As the 35th anniversary of the series will be on December 18th, it would make perfect sense for Square Enix to celebrate it by announcing the release of these remasters on consoles.

The ESRB age rating system lists these games along with the PC and mobile versions that were available in a staggered manner from the summer of 2021 to February of this year when Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster was released.

There are also improvements to the revamped soundtrack under the supervision of original composer Nobuo Uematsu, gameplay optimizations such as a modernized interface, updated controls, auto combat options, and more. As an accompaniment, there are extra contents of the bestiary, the gallery, the music player, and the ability to save at any time.

We will have to wait for the announcement to find out how the publisher intends to proceed at the distribution level: an episode-by-episode proposal over time, or a launch in a single jet, with or without a pack (on Steam, it was at more than 70 bullets the six episodes).

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series is now available for purchase on Steam, as well as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
