It was recently announced that the new PS Plus plans would arrive in June 2022, bringing 700 games in their catalog for players to enjoy. However, it appears that in preparation for this release, many titles are leaving Sony’s service. Check out the list of 56 games that would be leaving the PS Now service below.
According to a report, the publishers will remove dozens of games from the PS Now catalog ahead of the service’s upcoming merger with PlayStation Plus. A complete list of retiring projects is available in the newsletter for subscribers.
In May, the PlayStation Now catalog will lose 56 games, which means that at the time of the launch of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, users will not be able to play them. Among those making the list is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid V, Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and more.
The curious thing is that most of the titles that are leaving are from Konami and SEGA, with franchises such as Sonic, Yakuza, Metal Gear, Castlevania, and Silent Hill no longer available through the service.
